The genuine Alfatronix PV24S PowerVerter supplies 12V equipment from a nominal 24V DC electrical system. Its sealed, fanless construction, protected electronics and Click ’n’ Fit mounting clip suit commercial vehicles and properly protected marine installations where a common-negative, non-isolated converter is appropriate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this run any 12V appliance from a 24V battery bank?
Only if the appliance accepts a nominal 13.6V supply and the total simultaneous load, including starting current, stays within the converter rating.
Is the output electrically isolated from the input?
No. PV24S is the non-isolated, common-earth version. Use PV24i where galvanic isolation is required.
Can it provide 30A continuously?
No. Alfatronix rates it at 24A continuous. The 30A intermittent rating is limited to two minutes followed by eight minutes rest.
Can it be mounted outdoors?
IP53 does not make it waterproof or submersible. Install it in a protected, ventilated location and allow adequate cable clearance.
Installation note: Confirm load current, conductor size, fuse protection, polarity and earthing arrangement before energising the converter.
