Is this a genuine original part?
This is a premium "Edge" series cable by SeaStar Solutions (Dometic), designed to exceed the performance of standard factory cables. It is a direct drop-in replacement for Mercury part 850716A9.
How do I know if I have Gen I or Gen II controls?
Gen I cables have a distinct "barrel" shaped connector on the control box end. Gen II cables use a different slotted connection. This cable is specifically for Gen I controls only.
