How do I know if it is compatible?
This kit fits all Mercury 60hp outboards. If your lower unit uses the standard 3/8"-16 threaded drain screw (standard on almost all Mercury outboards 40hp and up), this kit is a guaranteed fit.
How much oil does my 60hp Mercury gearcase need?
A standard Mercury 60hp 4-stroke gearcase requires approximately 710ml (24 oz), while the Command Thrust model requires approx 828ml (28 oz). This 1-litre bottle provides more than enough for a complete change.
Note: Always ensure the old washers are removed before installing the new seals included in this kit. Do not mix High Performance gear lube with Premium gear lube.
