How does the BackTow system work in an emergency?
If you are in the water while tethered, you manually pull the large BackTow handle (on the right lung). This releases a mechanism that shifts the harness attachment point, causing the jacket to rotate you onto your back into a seated position.
Can I use this with a lifejacket light or sprayhood?
Yes, the TeamO Coastal 170N is compatible with standard SOLAS lights and can be fitted with a sprayhood for added offshore protection.
