Questions & Answers
Do I need a subscription?
No. The beacon uses the Cospas-Sarsat satellite network and requires no subscription.
What does RLS do?
Return Link Service sends a confirmation back through the Cospas-Sarsat network; a flashing blue light and a display message show that your distress message was received and your location detected.
When does the battery need replacing?
After 5 years or after emergency use, whichever comes first.
