This Victron 150V 100A MPPT?ÿcontroller comes?ÿfrom the intelligent SmartSolar range, which uses the latest ultrafast MPPT technology to?ÿmaximise energy harvest whilst maintaining optimal battery health. SmartSolar MPPT controllers uniquely feature built-in Bluetooth, to allow remote system monitoring via any Bluetooth enabled device, along with a programmable relay with various signalling options.

Ultrafast MPPT Technology:

This 100A MPPT solar charge controller is designed to deliver the highest possible energy yield in the shortest amount of time.?ÿThis is achieved?ÿthrough the use of high speed Maximum Power Point Tracking technology, which?ÿtracks the maximum power voltage point of the solar panels as it varies depending on sunlight exposure and temperature.?ÿ

This?ÿtechnology enables the controller to produce?ÿup to?ÿ30% greater energy yield than PWM controllers and as much as 10% more power than slower MPPT controllers. This advanced technology?ÿallows the controller to?ÿperform extremely well?ÿin low-light or cloudy conditions, as the controller consistently strives to extract?ÿthe maximum?ÿavailable power from the solar array.

Inbuilt safety protection:

Fully equipped with an extensive range of safety features, this controller?ÿoffers complete?ÿprotection against potential hazards such as PV short circuit, reverse polarity, overvoltage, overcurrent and reverse current, as well as?ÿbattery overvoltage, reverse polarity and overheating -?ÿmonitored via the internal temperature sensor. Inbuilt Bluetooth:

This SmartSolar?ÿcharge controller features?ÿbuilt-in Bluetooth which allows the user to easily connect to any Bluetooth enabled device, such as a mobile phone, tablet or?ÿiPad?ÿin order to access?ÿthe VictronConnect App?ÿ(no additional Bluetooth dongle required).?ÿThe?ÿmobile app unlocks?ÿnumerous possibilities for?ÿadvanced programming and remote monitoring of your Victron SmartSolar system. Once the controller is paired with the app,?ÿa wide range of?ÿadditional features are made available, including:

Live data transmission: Real-time information is displayed including solar panel output, battery voltage and current (flowing into and out of the battery) as well as battery state of charge.

Detailed?ÿdata logs: System activity for the past 30 days is available to?ÿview; either as in-depth daily logs or as a monthly summary. These easy-view graphics display daily energy yield, maximum recorded power and voltage, time spent in each charging stage, minimum and maximum recorded battery voltages, error records and total energy counters.

User-defined battery charging algorithm: Option to disable preset?ÿvalues in favour of?ÿpersonalised charging parameters, including user-defined?ÿabsorption voltage, absorption time, float voltage, equalisation voltage and temperature compensation settings.

The VictronConnect App is?ÿalso available to download?ÿas a PC version, for computers without bluetooth connectivity. If you would like to?ÿuse?ÿthe PC version of the app to monitor/program your SmartSolar system, this controller can be connected to your PC via a VE Direct USB cable.

Optional LCD display:

Alternatively, this SmartSolar controller features?ÿa connection area for an optional?ÿPlug-in LCD display (sold separately). Simply remove the rubber seal on the face of the controller and?ÿplug in the?ÿremoveable LCD display to access a range of monitoring and programming functions. This display shows charging parameters (voltage, current,?ÿpower) for the solar panel and?ÿbattery as well as 30 day?ÿperformance data and any system faults. The user can also set their own charging parameters for a user-defined battery type, personalise settings for the load, charging stages and more.

Programmable relay:

This solar charge controller has programmable relay contacts, which can be programmed (e.g. with a smartphone, via the app) to start a generator or to send a low battery signal which will activate?ÿan audible alarm.

Other features:

The Victron SmartSolar MPPT?ÿ150/100 model is ideal for a wide range of applications as it is resistant to extreme temperatures, high altitudes, dusty environments and marine environments. The unit enclosure is IP43 water resistant with resin encapsulation of the internal electrical components and has a PD3 pollution rating.

This solar charge controller is also compatible with a wide range of battery types, including AGM, Gel, Tubular plate and Lithium batteries.
