Victron VS1000S SmartShunt 1000 A monitors 12/24/48 V battery banks with inbuilt Bluetooth for realβtime battery data and very low standby drain.
- Battery voltage: displayed for the main battery / battery bank and for an optional auxiliary battery connected via the secondary input.
- Battery midpoint voltage monitoring: for multiβbattery banks the SmartShunt monitors midpoint voltage, displays top and bottom section voltages and triggers an alarm if the midpoint deviates.
- State of charge: indicated as a percentage value from 0β100%.
- Charging / discharging current and power: current (A) and power (W) shown; values displayed as negative for discharge (load) and positive for charge.
- Battery temperature: connect optional Victron temperature sensor (ASS000100000) to adjust charging within the safe range.
- Amp hours consumed: continuous Ah tally (for example, 12 A drawn for 3 h = 36 Ah consumed).
- Timeβtoβgo: estimates remaining runtime at the current draw.
- System specifications: nominal battery voltage 12 / 24 / 48 V; supply voltage range 6.5β70 V; auxiliary input voltage range 6.5β70 V; input current range β1000 A to +1000 A; supply current 1 mA (12 V) / 0.8 mA (24 V).
- Accuracy, dimensions and standards: voltage accuracy Β±0.3%; current accuracy Β±0.4%; operating temperature β40Β°C to +50Β°C (β40Β°F to +122Β°F); size 120 x 68 x 54 mm (4.7 x 2.7 x 2.1 in); weight 1100 g (2.43 lb); safety EN 60335β1; emission/immunity ENβIEC 61000β6β1, ENβIEC 61000β6β2, ENβIEC 61000β6β3; automotive EN 50498; includes 2x positive supply cables 1.5 m; optional temp sensor ASS000100000; 5βyear manufacturer warranty.
Installation notes: connect the shunt on the negative battery wire close to the battery. Typical standby draw is ~0.7 Ah per month on a 12 V system.
