The H-Vector antenna senses the magnetic component of NAVTEX transmissions, making it far less susceptible to local electrical interference and eliminating the need for a ground plane — improving reception in marinas and at sea.
- Senses magnetic field, not electric field — resists locally generated interference
- No ground plane required — unaffected by conducted ground noise
- Delivers better reception in harbours and offshore when electrical noise is high
