Zinc anode kit for Yanmar saildrives designed to protect the saildrive hub and gearbox housing from galvanic corrosion.
- Material: zinc anode (CM19644002660Z)
- Fits the hub on Yanmar SD models: SD20 / SD30 / SD31 / SD40 / SD50 / SD60
- Compatible with adaptor plates
- Mounting holes: 125 mm centre (4.92 in)
- Designed for saildrive gearbox housing attachment
- Prevents galvanic corrosion on saildrive units
- May require extra anodes if propeller material is changed or a folding propeller isolates the hub
Use a small amount of liquid threadlocker on the fixing screws and test for electrical continuity after fitting; check propeller hub design for integral shock sleeves that can isolate the hub and necessitate additional anodes.
