Rust Eater & Converter converts rust to a stable, paintable surface and is biodegradable, using a special buffering process to make this acid product safer to use.
- Converts rust to a stable, solid form
- 650 ml (22 fl oz) ready-to-use container
- Biodegradable, buffered acid formulation
- Apply by spray, brush or dip
- Suitable as a base coat for oil, urethane or epoxy paints
- Drying time before painting: 2 hours
- Best performance above 21°C (70°F)
- Surface prep: remove oil, grease, loose rust and flaking paint
Ensure surface is clean and dry. Apply product by spraying, brushing or dipping; if painting, allow treated surface to dry thoroughly for 2 hours then use oil-based, urethane or epoxy paint. If not painting, leave on for 1–2 minutes, rinse with fresh water, towel dry and apply a protective oil. If using a sprayer, flush with clean water for about 1 minute before storing. Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
