The Victron Centaur 12V/40A is an auto‑ranging marine battery charger offering AC‑DC and DC‑DC operation with three isolated outputs and robust corrosion protection for demanding environments.
- Output: 12 V, 40 A charging current.
- Input: 90-265 V AC 50/60 Hz (auto‑ranging) and 90-400 V DC - full rated output across the range.
- Three isolated charge outputs; each output can supply the full 40 A.
- Automatic three‑stage charge characteristic suitable for Gel or AGM batteries.
- Withstand the rigours of an adverse environment: heat, humidity and salt air. Circuit boards are protected with an acrylic coating.
- Aluminium epoxy powder‑coated case with drip shield and stainless steel fixings; temperature sensors reduce output under extreme conditions.
