Compact 40 A 12 V intelligent mains charger offering automatic 7‑stage charging for safe, unattended charging of 12 V battery banks from 220–240 V AC mains.
- Compatibility: Designed for lead‑acid batteries including AGM, Gel and Wet cell. Charges a single 12 V battery or multiple 12 V batteries in parallel (batteries must be same type, capacity and age).
- Safe unattended charging: Inbuilt safety functions protect against DC short circuit, overheating, overcharging and reverse polarity; low‑ripple charging voltage for smooth, uninterrupted charging.
- Continued charging during use: Charger maintains charge while energy is drawn from the battery and will maintain full charge automatically.
- Boost‑charging & dead battery recovery: A preliminary boost stage can improve battery condition and help recover lost capacity from older batteries; a desulphation stage breaks down sulphation in batteries left flat for extended periods.
- Automatic temperature control: Inbuilt fan engages automatically when high temperature or charging current is detected to maintain optimal internal temperature.
- LCD display & power‑pack function: LCD shows charging voltage, charging current and charging stage; LEDs indicate battery type. Power‑pack mode can supply a direct 12 V load (for example a 12 V fridge) without a battery connected.
