How do I know if the pump fits my Yamaha?

Yamaha outboards standardly use an M8 (8mm) thread for the lower unit fill plug. This kit includes the specific M8 adapter required for a secure, leak-free connection during the filling process.

Can I use this oil for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke outboards?

Yes. Gear oil is used in the lower unit (gearbox), which is separate from the engine's internal lubrication. This SAE 80W-90 GL-5 oil is suitable for the lower units of both 2-stroke and 4-stroke outboard engines.
