- MPPT Technology: This solar charge controller uses the most advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) to optimise power harvest, with MPPT tracking efficiency >95% (manufacturer specification).
- PV input: PV input (Voc) up to 150 V (use panel voltages higher than battery voltage for best results); maximum combined panel input 390 W (12 V) / 780 W (24 V).
- Full system protection: comprehensive electronic protection including reverse current prevention at night (prevents battery discharge back to the solar panel), automatic cut-off to prevent over‑charging and deep discharge, solar panel over‑voltage protection, overload, short circuit and reverse polarity; self‑diagnostic capability and optional audible alarm to alert the user of system failures.
- Automatic recognition: the controller automatically recognises 12 V / 24 V battery systems (note: always connect the battery to the controller before connecting the solar panel). LED indicators show charging status and battery condition.
