The Cyrix Battery Combiner is a microprocessor-controlled heavy-duty relay that automatically parallels batteries when charging and isolates them again when voltages drop, providing near-zero voltage loss compared with diode isolators.

- 12/24 V auto-ranging - detects system voltage automatically
- Long M8 bolts to allow connection of more than one power cable - 16 mm (0.63 in)
- Protection against overheating: disengages on excessive contact temperature and re-engages after cooling
- LED status indication (Cyrix 12/24 230 only): LED on = engaged; 10 s flash = disengaged; 2 s flash = connecting; 2 s blink = disconnecting; 0.25 s blink = alarm
- Prioritises the starter battery for alternator-driven charging
