- Engine and start isolation: Yes
- When two engines are running, one relay is open and the other is closed (Engine 1 start)
- During engine starting the relay may close to combine batteries so they share charging and the starting load
- Alternatively during engine starting the relay may open to isolate batteries and prevent unwanted discharge
