The Type R remote drive system makes sterndrive installations both single engine systems. The installation kit simply clamps to the steering cylinder with no drilling or cutting required. 

 

For Older Mercruiser engines (pre 1994) use System B.

The Mech Remote Drive System utilizes a mechanical linear drive system with a short RAM stroke of 8.5 inches (216mm), ensuring reliable and precise operation.
