Horseshoe lifebuoy bracket designed to secure old-style horseshoe lifebuoys to decks and bulkheads. The low-profile, corrosion-resistant design keeps the lifebuoy close to the mounting surface to reduce snagging while providing long-term marine durability.
- Material: 316 stainless steel for long-term marine corrosion resistance.
- Finish: satin polished for reduced glare and smooth edges.
- Overall dimensions: 85 mm × 60 mm × 18 mm (3.35 in × 2.36 in × 0.71 in).
- Mounting: 4 × Ø6.5 mm holes (suitable for M6 bolts); hole centres 70 mm (2.76 in).
- Fits horseshoes up to 75 mm (2.95 in) wide — maximum buoy width at the mount; compatible with most old-style designs.
- Designed as a secure holder for horseshoe lifebuoys; not intended as a primary load-bearing lifting point. Actual holding capability depends on correct installation and substrate.
- Fixings not included — recommended: stainless M6 bolts and suitable backing plates for strength.
Easy bolt-through installation using M6 hardware and suitable backing plates on wood or metal substrates; check dimensions and installation strength before fitting. Ideal for marine use, including deck-mounted lifebuoy stations and MOB (man-overboard) horseshoe lifebuoys.
