SAE 80W-90 synthetic blend gear lube formulated for marine lower units and gearcases, providing extreme-pressure protection, anti-wear performance and corrosion resistance for outboard and sterndrive lower unit oil applications on engines over 100 hp.

For easy filling we recommend Star brite Lower Unit Quart Pump (#27400), Lube Tube (#28600) and Adaptor (#28401, #28402).
- Refer to the engine manufacturer's service manual for flushing and filling instructions. If none are available: remove upper and lower plugs on the lower unit gear case and completely drain the old oil.
- Install the fill tube into the lower hole.
- Slowly refill the unit with new lubricant until fluid appears at the lip of the upper hole.
- Replace and securely tighten the upper plug.
- Remove the fill tube from the lower hole and replace and securely tighten the lower plug.
