The Meridian Zero range of instruments is constructed from solid, unlacquered brass and beveled glass. Our matte chrome instruments are created by anodizing chrome onto brass, not steel. The clocks are equipped with a quartz movement, while the barometers feature a sealed unit with an adjustment mechanism.
Tide Clocks include an additional hand that tracks lunar time over a 24-hour and 50-minute period, approximating the cycle of high and low tides. These instruments are mounted on a light-colored wooden board with the following dimensions:
