100% new starter motor designed specifically for use with Mercury 2-Stroke Outboard Engines from 65HP to 175HP, built between 1973 and 1988. 

This starter motor features a 10-tooth pinion and counterclockwise (CCW) rotation, ensuring reliable engine starts every time. With a PMDD (Permanent Magnet Direct Drive) design, this starter is built to meet or exceed OEM specifications, making it an ideal replacement for a wide range of Mercury and Mariner outboard engines.
