LALIZAS Hydrostatic Release Unit for EPIRB activates by hydrostatic pressure to free the beacon from a sinking vessel. Made of glass‑reinforced nylon and tested to LSA requirements / MSC.81(70) as amended.
What’s included
Unit only; bolt and mounting kit sold separately. Replace the bolt with the HRU and mark the expiry date on the label.
- Activation depth — releases EPIRB at 1.5–4 m (5–13 ft).
- Construction — glass‑reinforced nylon resists corrosion.
- Certification — complies with LSA requirements / MSC.81(70) amended.
- Service life — replace 2 years after installation or 4 years after manufacture.
- Compatibility — fits most EPIRBs; replace the bolt with the unit.
