Blue Gee fibreglass polyester resin kit — 0.5 kg for laminating and general marine repairs on GRP and boat hulls. A polyester laminating resin and GRP repair resin compatible with glass-fibre reinforcement for laminating and touch-ups.
Typical pot life is approximately 10–20 minutes at 20°C (varies with catalyst dose and temperature). Use MEKP catalyst at 1–2% by weight (1% typical); higher doses reduce pot life. Work in a typical temperature range of about 10–30°C; parts can usually be sanded and painted after full cure, typically around 24 hours.
Coverage varies with reinforcement and laminate thickness; approximate wet-out coverage is around 0.5–1.0 m² per kg for thin laminates.
