A compact black fixing kit designed for secure, corrosion-resistant installation of boat fittings and deck hardware. Only the nylon anchors and rubber washers are black; screws are 316 stainless steel (natural finish).
- Pack contents — 28 pieces (itemised below).
- 16 × screws: 8 × M5 × 20 mm, 8 × M6 × 25 mm — 316 stainless steel.
- 4 × nylon anchors: Ø 8 mm (black) — for use in masonry or hollow substrates.
- 8 × black rubber washers: 20 mm OD; 4 with approx. 5.3 mm ID for M5 screws and 4 with approx. 6.4 mm ID for M6 screws (neat sealing around fasteners).
- Recommended pilot holes: for wood/fiberglass without anchors drill Ø 3 mm for M5 and Ø 4 mm for M6; when using nylon anchors (masonry/hollow) drill Ø 8 mm to accept the anchor.
- Suitable for deck fittings, rails, cleats and exterior joinery in saltwater environments.
- Installation guidance: position washer/seal, hand-start the screw, then tighten until the rubber washer is compressed to form a seal; avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the washer or substrate.
- Materials: 316 stainless steel screws, marine-grade nylon anchors, EPDM/synthetic rubber washers.
