How do I know if it is compatible?
Measure your boat's transom. This 'L' model is designed for a 20-inch transom height. If your transom is approximately 15 inches, you will require the Short Shaft (S) model.
Can this engine be stored on its side?
Yes, the MFS5D series features unique 3-way storage, allowing it to be stored on the front, left, or right side without oil leakage or engine damage.
Note: Outboard engines are shipped dry. You must add the correct grade and quantity of 4-stroke marine oil before first use.
