The AS HHGPS Handheld GPS Connection Kit links a handheld GPS receiver to compatible Humminbird control heads using an NMEA 0183/RS-232 data connection.
- Compatible with Humminbird 300 Series and HELIX 5/7/9/10/12 control heads. May also support legacy 500/600 and 700/800/900/1100 series — verify availability and compatibility for your model.
- Power note: Humminbird 700/800/900/1100 Series and HELIX 9/10/12 can supply power to the connected device; 300 Series, 500/600 Series and HELIX 5/7 require external power.
- Requires an RS-232 or NMEA 0183 data cable from the handheld GPS manufacturer to complete the connection; connector type and cable length depend on your handheld model.
- Supports DSC VHF, heading sensors, GPS and AIS devices — consult your control head manual for supported devices and wiring.
- Not compatible with ONIX or ION series; for those units use an AS GPS NMEA or AS DUAL NMEA cable and confirm wiring and compatibility with the control head manufacturer.
- Includes NMEA 0183 connection cable and detailed instructions.
