The Plastimo Iris 50 Orange Z/AB is a robust hand‑bearing and traditional compass with precise 1° graduation, prism no‑parallax reading and maintenance‑free photoluminescent illumination for reliable use at sea or in the field. Color: Orange.
- Durable non‑slip finish with shock‑resistant pivot and very hard jewel for long life and accurate bearings
- Prism projects the reading to infinity to eliminate parallax and speed up taking bearings
- 20° field of view with excellent card stability for rough sea conditions
- Graduated every 1° with red lubber lines for quick, accurate readings
- Two functions: hand‑bearing and traditional compass (course reading from above)
- Clearance 12° for comfortable sighting
- Base diameter 83 mm (3.27 in); card apparent diameter 81 mm (3.19 in)
- Built‑in photoluminescent lighting — maintenance‑free, no batteries or tritium
- Soft bottom cell engineered with ultrasonic welding to act as an expansion diaphragm and prevent bubbles and leaks
