The Plastimo Iris 50 is a compact, shock‑resistant hand‑bearing and standard navigation compass with a no‑parallax prism and built‑in photoluminescent lighting for night use without electrical power. It features a robust pivot with a very hard stone for long life and a soft bottom cell (ultrasonic‑welded) that acts as an expansion diaphragm. Course reading is done from above for traditional use.
