The GALAXY INFL8-5 inflatable emergency VHF antenna inflates to 1.5 m (5 ft) to deliver a full 3 dB antenna with up to three times the range of typical helical emergency antennas.
- Full 3 dB performance; 1.5 m (5 ft) inflatable for extended range
- Rapid deployment via CO2 canister (canister-fired) or manual valve
- Factory-tuned, reusable, and high-visibility (day/night contrast)
- Includes 6 m (19.7 ft) cable with PL-259, SMA adapter and solder-free UHF splice connector
- Fast mounting with hook-and-loop straps and grommets for stanchions, spreaders and masts
Supplied with high-visibility storage bag and bespoke splice connector. Warning: Not a personal flotation device or a visual distress signal. Not suitable for submersion or as a man-overboard rescue device.
